PASADENA, Calif., Oct. 5, 2017 -- School administrators from across the nation gathered in San Diego, California for two days of grant development training at the Education Grants Conference. This event attracted school districts as well as public and charter school participants who were eager to learn better ways to gain education grants.
The conference was led by Rodney Walker, grant development systems expert and president of Grant Central USA. Walker said, “It’s always a delight for me to share grant insight with school leaders and I get especially excited seeing the light bulb go off in their eyes once they have heard and embraced a new concept.”
Several of Walker students have incorporated his approach to grant development and raised millions of dollars. He recently helped four of his students collectively win over $16 million, nearly $4 million each.
Bob Anderson, Associate Superintendent of Trinity Alps Unified School District said that he learned tons from the conference. “I recommend this to anyone who is interested in helping your students and your district better themselves. Rodney gave us a great plan as to how to go about assembling a team, getting a cohesive plan and then the tools to help you be successful.”
With the competition being so fierce to win education grants these days, several school administrators are looking for ways to stand out of the crowd.
Amanda Jelleson, Executive Director of Incito Schools in Goodyear, Arizona said, “I really enjoyed this opportunity to be here and connect with other individuals and really discuss the ideas of how we could really take our organizations to the next level with grant opportunities. The training itself had a great focus on how do we campaign versus just grant writing which to me was a mind shift and caused me to think about grant writing in a whole different capacity.”
“This conference really is about planting new ideas and watching them grow into additional revenue for schools and district,” says Walker. The next Education Grants Conference will be on March 21 - 22, 2018 in Pasadena, California. Learn more now at EducationGrantsConference.com
